With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Michael Krummel, who left this world on December 9th, 2024, at the age of 40, at Belleville Memorial Hospital in Belleville, Illinois.
Born April 4, 1984, in Breese, Illinois to John Paul Krummel, Sr. and Sandra Cunningham, Michael grew up in Bond County, attending school in Mulberry Grove. He went on to work a variety of jobs after high school, with the most recent being a tree trimmer. Michael was a small-town boy with a big heart and an even bigger smile. Known for his respectful and well-mannered nature, he carried a mischievous streak that kept everyone laughing and on their toes.
He found joy in the simple pleasures of life: casting a fishing line, revving the engine of a fast car, or squealing tires just for fun. A bit of a homebody at heart, he loved family time, especially spent enjoying good food and better company.
