It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Anthony 'Tony' Creasy, 61, of Greenville, Illinois, on Sunday, November 3, 2024, at his residence. Known for his out-of-control curly mullet and larger-than-life personality, Tony brought joy, humor, and warmth to all who knew him. Affectionately called "Pawpaw with the Crazy Hair" he was a true character who made a lasting impression wherever he went.
Tony was born to Arlee 'Red' and Katherine (Yates) Creasy, on September 26, 1963, in East St. Louis, Illinois. He spent his early childhood growing up and going to school in Livingston before moving to Highland during his sophomore year. He graduated from Highland High School in 1982 and from there his journey took him through the United States Air Force, time spent as a certified nursing assistant and on to truck driving school in Granite City.
