Charles Lee Eyman of Greenville, Illinois passed away Friday evening, October 25, 2024, at the age of 74. A lifelong farmer and devoted family man Charles left a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Charles was born February 13, 1950, in Vandalia, Illinois to Charles E. and Betty (Mansholt) Eyman. He grew up in Bond County graduating with the Greenville High School class of 1968. After high school, he attended Milliken University for one year, finishing his education as a part of Greenville College Class of 1972 earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in history. Charles married Laurel Vancil in Taylorville, Illinois on May 27,1972, she survives.
Charles, with his family, operated a successful dairy, livestock, and grain operation. His practical mind and relentless work ethic were complemented thru a deep love for others-especially his wife Laurel, children, grandchildren, and siblings.
